Determine the canopy size for you. A simple equation

Recommended Posts

First, figure out your ideal wingloading:
Wl = (#j x St)/IQ. Where:
Wl = wingloading
#j = # of skydives under belt
St = size of testicles. (Max diameter in centimeters)
And IQ being the IQ of the subject.
No that we know our ideal Wing-loading, it's a simple formula to determine your ideal canopy size. Weight/Wingloading = canopy size in square feet.;)
See kids, math can be fun.
I got nuthin

wow.. i should be flying a 70sq.ft. canopy if this is true.......smaller if i was dumber or larger if i was smarter.................it might be more acurate if i actually tok the time to mesure my testicles but i just guessed........this has been fun using math......

hmmm 11 jumps, 2cm diametre and IQ of 147
lets see (11 x 2) = 22
therefore 22divided by 147 = 0.15 (aprox)
exit weight = 185lbs
So that means 185/0.15 = 1233
MAN thats a really big canoy, I want some gelp packing it, and carrying it, and we need a bigger plane at the DZ, one of them big muthas that they push tanks out of, should have a big enough orrifice.:ph34r:
