Well the weekend is near an end and I don't see a customary "Weekend Numbers" thread. So I guess I'll start one.

0 : 6 : 1

- No comment on the first category.

- Six jumps made on Saturday , none on Sunday due to the snow.

- Beer owed for the first time I was on a load that had an emergency and all the skydivers were told to exit the aircraft early (my ProTrack said I exited at 5700' and had 23 seconds of free fall). But I'm happy to report that every one was ok including the pilot who managed to dead stick it back to the airport.

It was surprisingly warm today in South Jersey. Good day for jumping, too bad my reserve was out of date.

4 days til i'm in Florida!!! 8 jumps. Got to do a super cool sitfly with my girl Tadbad (who i might add never posts anymore). 1 case of beer for jumping my new(used) RW suit with booties. No worries though, i'm still a freeflyer damnit!!

Other weekend highlights include getting way too drunk and making numerous phone calls... Staying up and eating the PPG cookies and having girl talk with Karla.

Well...I was going to jump today since the weather was about as perfect as it gets for November. About 60-65F and a chrystal clear blue sky with no clouds in sight. Unfortunately, my dumb ass didn't set my alarm correctly. I woke up at 10AM instead of 8 like I had planned. Didn't have enough time to get to the DZ and back to work by 4PM. Oh well...I'm off tomorrow so hopefully there are some tandems on the books.

I haven't jumped since the end of October. Slowly recovering from the past almost a year of reckless spending on skydiving. Two more big bills to pay and a couple hundred more into the car and I should be almost caught up... Won't be hitting 1k this year like I'd hoped though.

Tell me about it. :( I jumped away the money for a new rig this year. The 10 and 12 jump weekends have been replaced by 0 and 2 jump weekends.

Did 2 really cool jumps ... 1 was a 2-way for someone's 100th and the other was someone's first 2-way ever (still on student status) : 7 very painful jumps because I'm still sick so every time I go up, my ears hurt, but I knew where to stop before I blew out sinuses or my eardrums : 0 beers, YAY.

So I limited myself to only 7 jumps .. about half of my usual weekend. I've been sick for too damn long, and every time I jump it doesn't help it! I just can't stay away though!! Goin to TRY and take some time off so I can jump at SDA Friday ...

Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

1 = Number of used PC101's I bought this weekend.

Coolish in northern Florida this weekend, but all things considered, not too bad. Low winds and creative jumps were sweet, but what do you say to a guy who gets lost on his way to the second point? Apparently it doesn't matter since his attention span is only about 12 seconds.

Anyone else going to be @ Lake Wales on Wednesday?

I may be joining your packing frustrations soon. I'm currently flying a large Triathlon main (also a ZP) which I pack all the time, but it's fabric isn't as slick as the fabric PD uses. But on Friday I took possession of a smaller PD Sabre 2 (I will be slowly phasing out my Triathlon over the next few months) and packing a brand spanking new Sabre 2 will be interesting.
