to cope with my problems by becoming an alcoholic. It's Friday, all the systems are crashed, the customer hates me and everyone at work is ignoring my cries for help.

Time to raise the white flag, kick back with a brewski and laugh at the world.

Phil

Have you been jumping at Brush recently? I was down in Canon City last weekend and some people were telling me that the Brush people were losing their King Air and in turn would be using the Caravan from Canon City every other weekend? Do you know anything about this? I'd like to visit Brush one of these weekends, but not to jump a Cessna. :S

No truth to these rumors (which are probably started by other DZOs). Brush will be keeping the King Air all winter and will jump every weekend if there are enough jumpers. How was Canon City? I haven't been there yet. Apparently, the new owners of Brush used to operate down there before they bought the new place from Steve and Maria.

And to whomever stole my helmet and altimeter!! Can I have it back? pleese?

Jumping the Caravan at Canon City was cool, the people were nice and the scenery was pretty good. But I get the impression they cater towards the student side (Air Force Cadets) of the business. And we know how Mile-Hi caters towards the Tandems. So I guess I need to get my ass out to Brush sometime soon to check out a fun jumper DZ huh? :)

You guys both missed the helicopter jumps last weekend in Brush. $40 - not bad for a chopper ride, and I got six grand on my last ride. It was a TINY but chilly, though. Brrr. Looking forward to Eloy, that's for sure!!

Cool ... I was down in Canon City on Saturday and I got on all six Caravan loads :$. But the weather didn't look promising for Sunday, so no jumping for me then. :S

Hey is Brush open Thursday and/or Friday of this week? I am trying to figure out where I'll be jumping. I had tentative plans of maybe visiting Texas, but the WX isn't looking promising. Then I thought Eloy would be cool to visit for the long weekend. But once again the WX this weekend might not be good enough to justify the long drive. So I thought staying home in Colorado would be my best choice (the WX is supposed to be reasonably good here compare to Texas and Arizona). And since I've already visited Skydive the Rockies twice and have yet to make it to Brush, I was contemplating that I needed to check it out.

Thanks for the info. Today would be too cold to jump, but it's supposed to warm up in the next day or two. I will be watching the weather and making my go-no-go call sometime tomorrow concerning possibly leaving the state for the weekend. I'm confident that they will be jumping at Canon City this weekend, but they need more fun jumpers to show up to keep the Caravan running.
