Yeah, I always smoked Winston tobacco from a 3 foot grafix... Anyway, back to your original post about editing a pic: If you're using MS Photo Editor, you need to "select" the area of the pic you want to keep. Then MENU: EDIT, CROP. You can also try, SAVE AS, and you should be offered a button in the dialoge window "More Info", which should allow you to select the JPEG Quality Factor. That will reduce size as well.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Rdutch 0 #8 November 27, 2002 If you have xp this will work and might with other window's. Right click on the picture and go to Edit. Windows picture viewer should come up with the picture. Then go image and then adjust the sketch/skew down I use 10% incraments but you can do what you find best. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! narcimund 0 #10 November 27, 2002 I don't suppose anybody will care when I remind them that Photoshop is a product which sells for $600.00 and its publishers have a right to expect people will pay them for its use. jerm 0 #12 November 27, 2002 ok... using photoshop for image resizing is like using a couple of kilos of c4 to demolish a doghouse -- overkill. go to http://www.irfanview.com/english.htm, download the program,it's free, less than a meg to download, only slightly mroe on your drive, and has a MUCH smaller memory footprint than photoshop (and loads in about a 20th of the time). drag the image into the program, click image-resize, resize to a good size (keepa good check on the zoom meter at the bottom, if the image is the size of the screen and you're viewing ti 25%, it's WAY too big), save as a jpg and off you go. nice and easy. Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time
