Slowfaller 0 #1 November 26, 2002 I had the pleasure of doing a Bowl-A-Thon for a charity who will supply shoes and boots to Chicago area children and while I was at the bowling alley, someone snapped a picture of our lane. I enjoy looking at the pictures everyone posts here and it's a treat to actually have one on a computer since I'm still living in the 20th century. The woman on the left is a lady who I didn't meet until that day, she was a lot of fun. The woman in the middle w/ the green shirt is our very own GinandJuice The guy w/ the Tuesday shirt is yours truly and the woman on the far left is a co-worker that sits in my quadrant in the office. Slowfaller 0 #4 November 26, 2002 ginandjuice is spoken for but i don't know how to refer to her because of that one poll so I'll say she's my sweetheart and when my coworker gets in I'll have her shoot you an email....she's made a tandem too!Chris --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM
AggieDave 6 #5 November 26, 2002 hehe...too bad yall aren't in good ol' Tejas. I was guessing as much with you and ginandjuice, but it was a guess so I commented anyways. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Deuce 1 #7 November 26, 2002 There's no beer visible in the picture, so I suspect fraud
Slowfaller 0 #8 November 26, 2002 There is a jack and coke in the clear cup! I just told Lindsay that everyone thinks she's a hottie and she's. I told her to logon but I don't think she will... lyndzie 0 #9 November 26, 2002 Is there snow in Vancouver?
chachi 0 #10 November 26, 2002 Vancouver will barely ever get snow. If we do it will be for a day or two. The weather here is very mild, a lot like Seattle. We have so far had so little rain and beautiful days since summer. A real treat. SO are you coming? ~Chachi
lyndzie 0 #11 November 26, 2002 Let me know when it snows. I will need a place to stay. - girl on the right
chachi 0 #12 November 26, 2002 There is snow ten minutes from Vancouver. We live on the edge of the mountains. There are 3 skiing mountains within 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We could start with a little skiing / snowboarding. ~Chachi
lyndzie 0 #13 November 26, 2002 Sweet. That was exactly the answer I was looking for.

Slowfaller 0 #16 November 26, 2002 Just a hop, skip and a 2 hour plane rideChris --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

lyndzie 0 #18 November 26, 2002 Do you have snow right there all year round?
chachi 0 #19 November 26, 2002 I think Vancouver might be a bit more than a 2 hour plane ride, although details like that are not so important. ~Chachi
chachi 0 #20 November 26, 2002 Some of the mountains do. Whistler / Blackcomb have glaciers that can be skiied all year around, and some of the peaks I have climbed have snow till really late in the season. ~Chachi
lyndzie 0 #21 November 26, 2002 Yeah, a couple hours difference is nothing.
lyndzie 0 #22 November 26, 2002 Nice... It just snowed here today. It is of course a wonderful day for me.
chachi 0 #23 November 26, 2002 Oooh cool, Whistler opened up 50% of mountain last weekend. I want to head up snowboarding this weekend maybe. Coming?
lyndzie 0 #24 November 26, 2002 I would love to. I am not too sure it is possible; working sucks. I have never snowboarded before. I love to ski. This year I definitely have to learn. My best friend snowboards and she has been trying to convince me to try it all year. I think I'll give it a try this time. Especially since all my other friends are on my ass about me learning too. I have to practice a little before I come up.
lyndzie 0 #25 November 26, 2002 I am supposed to go to WI this weekend to do some skiing. Maybe they will be in for a road trip.
