Mike and Paul...Blue Skies Eternal

Recommended Posts

We lost two jumpers this weekend in Lake Wales. Their names are Paul Desira and Michael Bailey. Accident details are on the Incidents forum as they are forthcoming.

To the both of you, I wish you godspeed, and long flights. Sail into eternity, glorious blue skies and great cloud canyons to enjoy. Teach the angels to fly!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the family and friends, please know you are in my prayers, and that you have many blessed memories to get you through the darker days. The sun will shine, and you will hear their laughter in the wind.

Blue skies eternal,
Michele

I had the opportunity to meet Paul a few times at Hinckley. One time, I stupidly put myself on a 5 min call and panicked when I realized I couldn't pack that fast. Paul said he could have it done for me, and smiled the whole time while packing! He was just a fun, laid-back guy.

Blue Skies to Paul and Mike. My thoughts and prayers are with them, their families, and their friends.

Forever soaring,free from earthly bondage.
To be remembered by those who loved and knew you is to continue to live, love and happiness can live forever.
My deepest condolences to the families and friends, just remember them always.
My kindred spirit feels a loss each time a brother or sister is released from life...
Blue Skies, Black Death.

Mike was a member of the DZ where I started my training. Here's the local paper's write-up.
