Rigging Ratings Confuuuusing

Recommended Posts

Lap was designed to be attached at or below your waist and rest on your lap as you sit down. When walking it would flap around and limited movement. Chest is mounted about where modern chest rings are and are actually pretty easy to pack up.

The only real seat rigs are either the old warbird style that you actually sit on top of the parachute or one thats mounted into the ejection seat like a Martin Baker style. Most every day pilot bail out rigs are back.

Seat ratings are unusual. Most people go Back rating then if you want the master they go chest since its still possible to find those laying around to work on.
