blueshrew 0 #51 November 29, 2002 Quote Walking is such a brag. I preffer driving. Driving down deserted streets is great, but does not happen too often, mostly it's driving in a traffic jam. Unless you are at the DZ and drive from the tent to the bathroom. Yes I like driving from the tent to the bathroom, all 90 feet of it Well it's cold sometimes, sprint to the car, drive to the nearest point, sprint to the bathroom. OK, I can't believe this is now a hot thread. I am going to eat now, who will take my place in writing some nonsense? It did get me off newbie status
blueshrew 0 #52 November 29, 2002 Quote I don't remember the traffic being that bad. I do however remember the "rules of the road" Basically there seemed to be none. Except drive on the right and honk your horn A LOT when going through traffic circles. 5 minutes from Cairo West the bus driver almost ran over a cop. I was laughing like hell until I thought about why he wouldn't stop.... And it works . And it doesn't get boring on the road there
blueshrew 0 #53 November 29, 2002 Quote I stick out like a sore thumb there. Maybe if I looked more like an Egyptian and fit in a little better I don't either, usually white as a sheet (thank god for tanning salons), and dark blond until I moved to a sunless country. But that never was a problem.

First at the driving and second at the other people in the car (Minus the driver) that seemed to be scared shitless.
