jose 0 #1 November 30, 2002 No, really I do. Its amazing. Out of all of the godamn places fog could be, why does it have to hang out RIGHT AT THE FUCKING DROPZONE!? Drive up the hill a 1/2 mile and nothing but sun with no clouds in sight. Drive back down, and what the fuck? FOG? AT 2PM? Make a long story longer, 1 hour and 15 minute drive each way to sit on my ass from 11 to 4. Whatever.
CanuckInUSA 0 #2 November 30, 2002 All I can say is I'm sorry dude ... well maybe not ... I've been to Pacific Skydivers once, but I didn't get to jump due to the weather. But I still picked up a t-shirt to prove I was there ... Now how many jumps can I get in tomorrow? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
jose 0 #3 November 30, 2002 Yeah, the weather can stack up against the mountains there at Pacific Skydivers all right. But I was at skydive Snohomish yesterday cause PS is closed during the week now. Snohomish might as well be closed if there is any chance whatsoever of fog, cause it sure as hell will hang out there.
Cepheus 0 #4 November 30, 2002 Replace 'Fog' with 'Wind' in your original post, and you have EXACTLY my feelings right now... Damn 14mph ground wind limitation on students...-- Skydive -- testing gravity, one jump at a time.
Guest #5 November 30, 2002 Yah, the Snohomish Valley is a fog magnet, to be sure. Many a frustrated day as a student. Now that I've got over 300, I don't worry as much. I've been working in Renton the past three days, so I haven't been paying attention to the weather in the North, but it was my impression from looking at the sky that Snohomish was clear yesterday. And paradoxically, Chilliwack can be clear when Pitt Meadows and Abbotsford are hopeless, if you don't mind jumping out of a 182... "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." homer 0 #6 November 30, 2002 Join the crowd over on the east side. It has been foggy her for over a week strait. Last Sunday was beautiful. I wish I had been at Kapowsin then. I could see all the mountains from altitude. I'm stuck here because of the F&%$@N fog too. I was anticipating the caravan this weekend and to much fog to jump. Oh well it will be back at the end of January. CSA #699 Muff #3804
