Casch 0 #1 December 1, 2002 I don't know about y'all, but CrazyThomas's talk about suicide (for example: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=199822;page=2;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25; ) and his look on life in general scares the crap out of me. I for one would never jump with him, or be around him by choice the way he is acting. He needs help! CrazyThomas, I don't meen to offend you here, but you really scare me. And it's not your look on death that is scary. I too am not afraid of death and welcome it, WHEN THE TIME COMES. I am not interested in suicide and the way you talk about killing your self...it's just not right man. Seek help, for your sake first of all. And second, for all of us. I care about everyone here. Yes even you Clay! (btw my highschool raises sheep so....) it hurts every time I read about a skydiver dying. Not because they died exactly, but because that is one less person I will never get to know. And the people that know you personally, your family, your friends. You die and you are going to really hurt them. Now I don't know how serious you are when you talk about this shit. It could be that your just bullshitting. If that's the case, stop. It's not funny, it's not cool, and it's not going to help you make friends here. But if your serious, please talk to someone. I really don't want to read about you in the paper. Peace man. . quatorze 1 #2 December 1, 2002 Casch, I appreciate your concern, but I think that you missed the sarcasm, hence one more instance of the internet not being able to carry the tone of a conversation as well as we would all like. Do not get me wrong your heartfelt concern is a wonderful thing, but I think that he was using sarcasm to emphasise the ignorance it would take to attempt to land a wingsuit at this time in there development. But good thoughts do keep you doing good things, good job. I'm not afriad of dying, I'm afraid of never really living- Erin Engle
Deuce 1 #3 December 1, 2002 Naw. Pretty much the only people to be concerned about are ones you are likely to meet. The talkers are less dangerous than the quiet ones.

skreamer 1 #5 December 1, 2002 If you really are that concerned, then posting a "Does CrazyThomas scare the crap out of you?" poll is hardly the way to go to help the guy. Your post seemed more for the benefit of everybody else than Thomas himself. Perhaps a PM voicing your concern might have been a better idea? Will PS have a quick lurk 'n search on Blinc, the guy has promised not to post there for a month - maybe he's just killing time on dz.com (as opposed to himself that is). (I'm with Deuce on this one - its the quiet ones you have to worry about...)

rgoper 0 #8 December 1, 2002 Josh: you should not be afraid of anything you can see, concerned...yes, scared no. what's he gonna do, jump through your monitor and kill you? having said that, if you relly believe CT needs some help, this posts can in no way be condusive to helping him, why don't you instead "lend a hand up" to the young man? we are quick to judge and slow to help someone. take care, be safe. wishing you the best always.--Richard-- "We Will Not Be Shaken By Thugs, And Terroist"
blewaway5 0 #9 December 1, 2002 Nicely put, I couldn't agree more. The title and the poll kinda suck the sincerity right out of the rest of the post, not to mention who here hasn't had a post misinterpreted at one point or another?
