ltdiver 3 #1 December 1, 2002 Hats off to the organizer of the Turkey Meet held at Perris today, Scott Smith (world known skysurfer and freestylist)! But even more impressive was his team "Turkey Scraps"! Take a look at the pics (thanks Cindy Munoz). This team was made up of not only RW regulars such as Carey Peck (of POPS leadership fame) but also Fritz and Eli from the "Flyboyz" and Clint and JC from "Perris Evolution" swoop fame! And to top it off, this team took the Silver medal! And they all belly-flew! Good Show!, From the Bronze team, "Leftovers". ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

ltdiver 3 #4 December 1, 2002 Quote So who won? Oh wait, lemme guess.... Your boss's team! Captained by another World Record holder, Lisa Walker... skybytch 273 #5 December 1, 2002 Quote Kinda lopsided huh? Whatcha tryin' to say there, Paul? A few of the competitors (from three of the teams) were hanging out at Kate's house Friday evening and we were discussing who's team was gonna win. It was kind of a given that "ringer" team would take the gold...
katecooper 0 #6 December 1, 2002 Hey now, y'all be nice. we sucked so bad on round 2 (speed round) that there was only one team that DIDN'T beat us! It was, however, a fine interpretation of a hybrid dive. We just sucked less over the other three rounds (but we did have tons of fun). thanks to Scott and Perris Skydiving for letting us play (and for paying the weather bill). When it looked like Scott's team might be a couple of people short of 16 for the first round, he was even going to let some of us do double duty, jumping on both teams. Viva Good Times! Next stop on the 2002 good times tour--ELOY!!! kate
Deuce 1 #7 December 1, 2002 OOhh! That's Steve out front in the red shirt. Wow. He's an amazing freefly videographer, really, really helpful. Dang, he can belly fly at that level too? Paul and Lori, I hope to get some air time with you guys this year. Thanks for the pictures.
quade 4 #8 December 2, 2002 Hudoba was shooting camera. His belly flying is probably about as good as mine (in other word -- he never does it either).quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

ltdiver 3 #10 December 2, 2002 Quote Paul and Lori, I hope to get some air time with you guys this year. Come on down! Love to get together with you again. Perhaps this -next- time I'll not be saddled with a 4-way team training the same weekend. Let us know the dates and we'll see how we can work it. (ah, winter at Perris)ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Deuce 1 #11 December 2, 2002 Hooey! Come squeeze out of the KingAir door with me in Byron. We'll go wine tasting! (in the event of a weather out, or shooting) (Wait. Go target shooting at a range, not wine tasting because of a shooting at the airport) I'll be at Eloy 26-30. Going?
ltdiver 3 #12 December 2, 2002 Quote I'll be at Eloy 26-30. Going? Thanks for the invites, but can't make the Eloy thang d/t having one of those full-time jobs again. Kinda cuts into the freewheelin' fun-times, but at least the bills are gonna be paid now.ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
