moodyskydiver 0 #1 December 2, 2002 Well, she did. *shrug* She gave her semi-new(in great condition) Michigan suit to a very broke, struggling, fellow skychick...me! She also promised to take care of any alterations that needed to be done (just a bit too tight in the shoulders and knees). I just wanted to say thank you to this very remarkable chick for helping me through alot of very rough times lately and that it has been a pleasure and honor to have such a great friend.(Thank you, April! *HUG*)Its people like April, Perry(...thanks for doing the canopy course at Aggieland!) Kris and so many others I've met who really make this sport great for all of us by teaching, sharing knowledge or just helping someone who is new or someone who just needed a friend. Please don't forget the little people, because everyone has been there a time or two.Take time today to say thank you to those that have left their imprint on you life and have helped you on your way to becoming who you are today. Deuce 1 #3 December 2, 2002 That's great! What a nice thing to do, Freaksister! You've got a nice fat Karma balance. I really think having the same jumpsuit every time will improve your flying skills. Congrats! JP
moodyskydiver 0 #4 December 2, 2002 Yeah, I cant wait to jump it!She gave me the suit a few weeks ago but I haven't been able to jump it or my new altimeter because I've been sick. Oh well, hopefully that will change this weekend. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
freaksister 0 #5 December 2, 2002 uh, I am seriously BLUSHING here!!hehe Thanks Amber! That was so sweet! I just hope the imprint I have left in your life isn't the last one...I count you as one of my friends - and I don't have many down here you know! I miss you. HUGS!!!!!!!! You are an awesome woman too. Helping you helps me, if you know what I mean. You're sweet and beautiful - and deserve so much better than you've had so far. Your garden is going to bloom...just wait. Winter is a hard time to stay current (don't I know!!LOL) and injuries, sickness and weather work against us as a team sometimes (or it seems so!) I am also injured, with a torn ligament now in addition to the back injury. My LASIK was successful but I still can't jump! I am in withdrawals from my Sabre2. I am glad you like the suit, sweetie. I just don't like jumpsuits. Hey girl - wait till you see the cat!! she rocks... Hope to see you soon (this weekend?) Ape

wingnut 0 #11 December 3, 2002 Quoteatleast done a 4pt 4 way nope..... not really............ here's what i'll be doing for my "d" d. demonstrated the ability to perform individual maneuvers (either of the following): (1) during freefall, perform in sequence within 18 seconds-a backloop, front loop, left 360-degree turn, right 360-degree turn, right barrel roll and left barrel roll (2) completed at least two points on an 8-way or larger random skydive ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"

AggieDave 6 #13 December 3, 2002 That's right, the 4-way was for my C quals, I have a 3 pt 8-way under my belt too (my SCR/Eagle)... I tried to talk the S&TA into letting me do the maneuvers in a sit, but they wouldn't let me... --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
