Rdutch 0 #1 December 3, 2002 Ok skydive deland is having a HUGE new years party. Last years one was incredible, and this year is supposed to be bigger and better. The theme is the 70's, OK I can take the easy route and go Austin Powers, but I fear I will be one of 20 austin wannabee's. Anyone have any truly original Idea's? Or just idea's period? Ive looked at a few costume websites but most of the stuff looks too cheap, I wonder how good can a costume that cost's $30 be. Well let me know, and hope to see everyone there. Also dont bother looking for the party info on Deland's web site, it wont make it until next june or something, they are a little slow with update's. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! flyhi 24 #2 December 3, 2002 The height of 70's fashion had to be Saturday Night Fever. Platform shoes and polyester everything. Rent the movie, find the clothes, and live the dream.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.

wmw999 2,589 #6 December 3, 2002 Think doubleknit leisure suit. A friend of mine in the 70's had a pale olive green plaid number that would have been perfect, especially with brown platform shoes. You should be able to find one on Ebay or any decent Salvation Army/Goodwill store. You live in the land of people who never throw anything away because it might still be usable, so there must be some around.
