ChileRelleno 0 #1 December 4, 2002 Besides jumping I love to fish, salt or fresh doesn't matter! This last friday and saturday my friends and I took the boat out to our favorite spot and we nailed the redfish and black drums. I keep catching the biggest fish, but you should have seen the ones that got away! My biggest you see pictured here is 36"- 20 lbs, a nice red by anyones standards! Gear/tackle - 7' seeker rod/Penn 7500ss reel, 15lb line using dead shrimp on a 2/0 hook with a 40lb mono leader. Yeah, I know medium tackle but once I set the hook it aint getting away! These fish are yummy, tonights a big fish BBQ, c'mon over! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

freeflir29 0 #10 December 4, 2002 QuoteFished for and got my barndoor halibut I didn't get to hit the ocean when I was up there. Just several small lakes. Got some stocked rainbow and kamloops then a couple Artic Char out in the wilderness. However, my buddy had just one $16,000 dollars in some fishing contest. He threw in the $10 entry fee just cuz and then ended up catching some monster 400+ lb Halibut. Very tasty off the grill!!

Antithesis 0 #12 December 4, 2002 Damn that's a big Halibut.. We bring them up like that in the Bering sea.. But we can't keep them.. The biggest one That I ever caught (sportingly) was only 140.. But I got it on 25 lb test. It was me vs the halibut. I almost lost. Where did you get yours? The coolest fish that I ever caught up there is a wolf eel.. Man he looked mean.
