Gawain 0 #3 December 5, 2002 Quote So, what do you guys do to keep yourselves busy in the winter? (those of you who have it) Um...it was Sunny and in the 70s in Orange County, beautiful Southern California today. Annie's a good play, I saw it in NYC as a kid. My favorite musical (which I can remember since I saw them all when I was young) was a musical on Broadway called "Starlight Express" it was all done on roller skates...good show. But lately I've not had to preoccupy myself with that, because, well, it was in the 70s and sunny today, in Orange County, beautiful Southern California... So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! quatorze 1 #11 December 5, 2002 28F right now at home and 34F at the DZ, and winter just began, I think that last year the coldest we got during the day was 15F or so, but or weather patterns don't allow for much snow during the winter, so we get the cold and no nice things as a consolation prize I'm not afriad of dying, I'm afraid of never really living- Erin Engle

Guest #15 December 5, 2002 Midnight Not a sound from the pavement Has the moon lost her memory She is smiling alone In the lamp light The withered leaves collect at my feet And the wind begins to moan Memory All alone in the moonlight I can smile like the old days I was beautiful then I remember The time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again Every street lamp seems to beat A fatalistic warning Someone mutters and the street lamp gutters And soon it will be morning Daylight I must wait for the sun rise I must think for the new life And I mustn't give in When the dawn comes Tonight will be a memory too And the new day will begin Burnt out ends of smoky days The stale cold smell of morning A street lamp dies Another night is over Another day is dawning Touch me ! It's so easy to leave me All alone with my memory Of my days in the sun If you touch me You'll understand what happiness is Look, a new day has begun"The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
