Sebazz1 2 #13 December 4, 2002 Well it entirely depends on what kind of mood you are in and what your plans are for the evening. Are you going out to a bar or restaurant? Are you staying home? With someone or without? Eating? What are you eating? Oh and weather? Cold / Warm? Alcohol is best accompanied by food and friends...Middle of the week I personally like to open a nice bottle of wine... Red...
misskriss 0 #14 December 4, 2002 well.....let's see.... it's very cold...and I won't be having anything till I get back from taking the kids to basketball and dance....I will have the fire on and candles lit... a mellow mood, I guess.. PhillyKev 0 #21 December 4, 2002 Quote Quote Merlot I wish...I love Merlot, but sadly am allergic to red...it's not pretty.. That sucks....see if you have a local winery that makes spiced apple wine. Throw some in a crock pot with some cinnamon sticks....that's a good one for by the fire, too. Wish I still had a fireplace
PhillyKev 0 #22 December 4, 2002 Quote can't stand wine or wine like beverages. YUCK...beer or liquor for me! You've probably never had good wine paired with the right food. I didn't used to like it either, then tried something besides Boons Farm and Mad Dog 40/40. Nothing better that good Chianti with a fat, rare steak!! Sebazz1 2 #23 December 4, 2002 This is not personally aimed at you Philly Kev but it's funny how people always say what kind of wine is better with this andd that and blah blah blah. I have always asked people when I used to run restaurants ~ What is your favorite wine? What do you want to eat tonight? Well then I tell them I think since they you like that and that, that the food and wine they just choose will be a perfect match for each other!!Though a Sauvingon Blanc would probably go better with a light white fish...
