SkyDolphin 0 #1 December 5, 2002 It's such a great a feeling to be a hero in your kids eyes. Not only am my daughters hero today but I am also her 3 closest friend's hero too. The latest "teen" band to come out, Jump5, made an appearance in the cafeteria at my office. I knew they were going to be here but didn't tell. I picked the girls up from school and brought them to my office as a surprise. I told them we were just going to have lunch and then I would drive them home afterwards. Imagine their surprise when we were sitting in the cafeteria just hanging around after eating and in walks there new favorite band. They each got an autographed CD and poster and a cool experience to brag about at school tomorrow. And I get to be the coolest mom in the world until I am dethroned by some other great treat. wmw999 2,588 #2 December 5, 2002 Oooh -- that should be good until the weekend at least, unless there is an overdue homework assignment, dishes to wash, or curfew to enforce between now and then What a great feeling that must have been! SkyDolphin 0 #3 December 5, 2002 Yea the girls were so excited that they actually volunteered to vacuum and dust for me. Now if I could just figure out what it would take for them to clean the toilets for me. Rhonda

SkyDolphin 0 #5 December 6, 2002 I don't think that will work for an 11 year old. Maybe in 5 years but I don't want to wait that long. R

SkyDolphin 0 #12 December 6, 2002 Jump5 is the newest Disney band. Kind of like BAckstreet Boys, Nsync, etc. Not a big deal to adults but a very big deal to an 11 year old. Rhonda
