It amazes me when I hear someone talk about actually putting effort into keeping a relationship. I had almost given up hope that people think that way anymore! Nobody knows ME. Have a good friend who is a hottie. Had this talk with her Monday. Guys go ga-ga over her immediately from across the room. Do anything for her. She flips on the switch and guys want to sack Troy for her. She is the loneliest person in the world. Solution? Stop that. Don't put on perfume, rub up against the guy and laugh at every joke. Want to get known for being a person? Do that. Be a person, don't react to the double-entendre sex jokes. Don't let the conversation go there. If you can't carry a conversation without resorting to that, then you need to think about that. Know what? It's a lot harder to get guys to like you as a person than a fun-toy. Fun-toy is easier to get your way and manipulate guys, but you get the downside. Make a decision, live with it. Figure out what you want and act like it. Where is Deuce today? He's always got a good point to throw in there. Edit added: I wasn't directing this at skygal3, but to the general readership. Guys need to think about it too. I hate dating because I feel if 2 people get to know one another first and there is a mutual respect built it goes a lot easier. I need to be seen as an equal in any relationship that I carry on. Here at work I have tried very hard to be "one of the guys"...I made the mistake of dating someone fromt he dz ONCE!...and I really took my time deciding with that one before hand whether to or not...I will never do it again!
