Opie 0 #1 December 9, 2002 Reviewing my coverage and would be interested in hearing from anyone who has good coverage on an individual policy (not a group policy thru work), that doesn't contain exclusions or a rider for skydiving. Seems health coverage isn't too hard to find, but disability and any substantial life ins. is a bit more difficult. Thanks

sdctlc 0 #4 December 9, 2002 There is a company that USPA has a group policy through. You can get a life ADD policy that covers skydiving accidents, in addition to every thing else at I believe 25, 50, 75 and 100K. It was pretty cheap but the premiums went up recently, still less then I have seen quoted with a skydiving rider. It is not a bad idea as a backup policy for Skydiving in addition to what ever one you have normally that may not pay out on a skydiving accident. Scott C. skygal3 0 #5 December 9, 2002 my company offers AFLAC and some other company for disability....there is a skydiving clause for both, and I turned down both offers. The insurance saleman that interviewed me actually told me that I would be the ideal candidate for someone to take out a 1 mil policy on me... They weren't the greatest; AFLAC pays upon injury and the other (I can't remember the company) would pay after 6 days of absence 3/4 of your salary until your return to work...I figured if I had AFLAC I would subconsciencely know that I was covered if injured and that would make me more suseptible to injuring myself... skygal3 0 #7 December 9, 2002 lol...yeah, when the woman from AFLAC came she brought with her little stuffed ducks that screamed AFLAC when you pushed their chest...so anyone who signed up for AFLAC was given a duck, as were all of the managers...for days that damn duck was getting into so much trouble; answering the telephones, screaming over the buildings all call, leaving messages on peoples answering machines...(ok, I kind of had a hand in that one..) My duck has since been kidnapped.

AggieDave 6 #9 December 9, 2002 Do you think you could get your hands on another duck and ship it to me? That would be great to have... --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
