freeflir29 0 #15 December 6, 2002 Quote Maybe it's because we steal all your enlisted girls Just funnin. Seriously...I had a run in that ended with me saying "Captain...this conversation is over." In the middle of the 82nd D-TOCC (Most of the staff including both E and O's were at their tables) while deployed to Camp Lejune. That was the nicest thing I could think of to say that would keep me from actually beating the shit out of him. A few years earlier my buddy got in an ACTUAL fist fight with a TOCC staff Cpt at JRTC. It was really hilarious because the SGT Major happened to walk out of the TOCC just as one of the Air Force guys was moving around behind that Cpt with his rifle. About to butt stroke him... The SGT Major starts yelling....."Hold on....WTF goin on here..." I think it's mainly because those guys get so little sleep and after 3 or 4 days they lose all concept of rational thought. jceman 1 #16 December 6, 2002 MSgt USAF 15 1/2 years served. Don't ask. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
wingedmonkey1 0 #17 December 6, 2002 I can only speak from what I learned in the 82d. You have WAY too many type-A personalities with no place to release. I started jumping and bought a motorcycle, who knows what the others do. And you have that forever long AF vs Army rivalry and we end up thinking we're bullet proof. No worries though. It's time for dinner here anyway and I'm off to the gym. "Can't we all just get along???" Blue Skies!
