Michele 1 #5 December 11, 2002 Hey, Ed... How's by you these days? Anyway, if they're in the LA county area and may own property, I can always check public records for you against tax rolls. PM me with the names, and I'll give it a go (but if it's a fairly common name, it won't do much good...there are lots of joe Smith's around...). Other than that, I've never tried to find someone seriously. There are some phone books online for some cities that may give you info. Try going to the city information page and checking that way. Also, sometimes local rags publish stuff with names, name changes and whatnot. That may be another option. SpaceUnknown 0 #6 December 11, 2002 Not sure about the pay sites, but I've had pretty good success at tracking handles down, however geeks tend to cross post their handles, interests and stuff which makes things a little easier. James Edit: STALKER!! OH MY, I mean, I've never tried this. it's probably impossible AAAAA - American Association Against Acronym Abuse.

narcimund 0 #8 December 11, 2002 I used some searching skills to thoroughly freak out someone I was chatting IRC with once. He was new to the internet and overconfident about his anonymity. Through a series of deductions, web searches, and guesses, I was able to track down his current location to one of two rooms in a state 2000 miles from me. I flipped a coin and told him (about three minutes into the conversation,) you're in Room 201 in the Such-and-so building just past the Student Union at the University of Whatever. He immediately logged off IRC and so far as I know never came back! First Class Citizen Twice Over

KawiZX900 0 #19 December 11, 2002 i looked for an ex that i hadnt seen for 5 years, she moved west 5 years before me. just typed her name in a yahoo search engine, and there she was. on like 5 (non porn) web sites Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds.
