Taken the Scifi mega-mini series

Anyone else watching Taken on Scifi? Steven Spielberg produced...
My opinion, it Rocks! I love scifi though. I was thinking with all the alien stuff you see along with skydivers, who else likes this show? I think it is a believable and enticing treatment of the ufo/alien genre. The show mixes scifi with drama, which seems to be the current trend in scifi, but it does not leave me wanting for lack of new thought science fiction.
I didn't know this was going to turn into a review!!

I started watching it last weekend on the marathon.. Man am I hooked now! I barely even watch television but NOTHING is going to get in the way of me watching the rest of the series. The only thing that sucks about it is that there is just as much commercial time as there is movie play..Grrr.. Disturbing.

Spielberg is the Executive Producer, meaning the show just has his name on it and little else.

Frankly, I think the show sucks.

It's material that has been done to death before, and far, far better. The whole thing perpetrates a lot of urban myths, junk science, and the most dark conspiracy-whacko baloney. This program has done for the Air Force what Oliver Stone did for Kennedy and Nixon - propagandized and sensationalized the boring truth.
