Guest #28 December 12, 2002 I've been known to play the third movement from Mozart's Symphony No 39 at a skull-bustin' loud level: Sym No.39 in E flat, K.543: III. Menuetto. Allegretto-Trio I think 38 and 39 are his finest work. I also have a collection of Baroque that I occasionally haul out when I'm feeling more intellectual than usual...heh There may be those in the audience who, because of the AC-130 thread, might think I'm some kind of knuckle-dragging Neandertal...I hope this has helped clear that perception up a bit. Muenkel 0 #29 December 12, 2002 Definitely Beethoven's #9. Also, like mentioned previously "Ode to Joy"...overused, but it is a classic. _________________________________________ Chris
Deuce 1 #30 December 12, 2002 Yeah, Vivaldi at 11. "Why don't they just mark then '10' and have '10 be just that much louder?" "........these go to 11." "the dwarves are trampling on it" I love that film

mikkif 0 #33 December 12, 2002 Well, if we're getting away from the head-banging stuff, I would add Tallis - Spem in Alium 40-part motet, a real mind-bender to listen to. The copy I have here is King's College Choir, all men and boys, just gorgeous. Hard to concentrate on anything else when it's playing, however.Freedom -- Expression -- Spirit
