Yep I remember those: It's a good thing they didn't do drug testing back in the TV industry in the early 70s... they would have lost all their material!!

This was all done by Sid & Marty Kroft....now don't anyone try & tell me they never tried drugs (if they had done drug testing back then, we'd be missing major cultural icons from our past!) Anyone ever remember H.R. Puff n' Stuff, or Lidsville? H.R. Puff'n'Stuff, which had a talking flute?? Lidsville--where everyone was a hat?? I grew up on this shit... don't try & tell me that these people didn't have, uh, "safety meetings", when they were brainstorming for ideas!!

Ya, the 'Splits were cool! Ya, Ya, "Danger Island" ... that's the place! I've had the theme song from the Banana Splits run thru my head on occasion, too, over the yearz!
