What makes you better What makes you better than everyone else? Hmm? Is it your body, your style, your ability, your accomplishments? What is it that makes you so much better than everyone around you? Figured it out yet? Well ponder this...no matter what it is, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE OUT THERE BETTER THAN YOU!!!! You may have not met them or heard of them, but I assure you wholeheartedly they do exist and always will. And as an aside, for those of you, and you know who you are, who said "thats what you get for not jumping here" id rather go in at a better dz than have a great jump around cocky skygod assholes like yourself! AggieDave 6 #6 December 16, 2002 Strangley enough, I left the DZ early today after getting into it with someone there, I'm still pissed, I'm probably going to be pissed for a while. Interesting that someone else had the same vibes at their DZ... That sucks because we were wrapping up one hell of a weekend, beautiful weather, tons of people at the DZ, lots of good vibes. Its amazing how just a couple minutes can kill the entire fucking weekend. Oh-well, I'm drinking a beer now and about to get studying for the rest of my finals (one tomorrow, one tuesday and a paper due tuesday). Maybe by next weekend I'll have settled down and forgiven this person, I hope so or its going to suck at the DZ.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Either way, my guess is that they are jealous. Either they are financially unstable, and any lost business could send them over the edge, or they know that the other dz presents a better experience/value and they are afraid they will lose more business to them. The non-owners have just bought into the club/cult brainwashing. Fuck 'em. This is your home dz anyway. Just as another tidbit, I paid the price of a jump ticket to ride right seat on the sunset load...when we landed I had to jump out of the back of the otter with my bad ankle cause they had already put up all the ladders. How nice eh? This really is'nt that uncommon. If we ever have an Otter around the ladder gets kicked down as the plane pulls away and it only gets picked up at the next load. The pilots have steps on their side of the plane you could have used. There is'nt someone standing beside the plane to put the ladder at the door for the pilot. Also are you mad at the jumpers or the DZO? Jumpers can reflect a totally different opinion then the DZO. Then again there are asshole DZO's out there, I've met one and I really dislike the fact that their coDZO that a regional director. That was just the icing on the cake thats all. Im not mad at the DZOs at all. I am furious with the people that had that attitude with me. Yes they were instructors at the DZ. One of which was the person that carried the ladder away into the hangar while i was floppin about to get out. They dont understand we are all the same. It was an attempt at a reality check - you think you are better for whatever irrational reason, well you arent there is always someone better at it (being whatever it was they thought they were better at). I have never treated anyone better or worse than anyone else at the dz or otherwise. I just needed to vent because I didnt appreciate being looked down on and chided at by self proclaimed skygods.
