jumperconway 0 #1 December 11, 2002 How many of you here laughed your ass off reading Kate's Airspeed tunnelcamp diary in Skydiving Magazine this month? You have to have been to one to Really appreciate this! More Advil please!!!!! Conway 1085
arlo 0 #2 December 11, 2002 I haven't been part of the tunnelcamp.com stuff other than working at the tunnel, but I can say that I was PISSING myself laughing at the whole article by Kate! Thing is, there was no embellishment...I saw Kate a bunch during that trip and it was funny as hell. :) I think I may have even given her some advil.I think that should be a good example to EVERYONE. Kate's been around skydiving for a few years (and she's still 25 ), but her ATTITUDE is outstanding!! Here comes someone who is a mentor and role model for alot of skydivers, realize that she has untapped potential and has room for improvement, pays for a tunnel camp and is humbled and awed all at once. If someone in the position Kate is in knows there is room for improvement, i think it's a good thing for people to see. :) Kudos for another great example of having an OUTSTANDING attitude... arlo

ltdiver 3 #8 December 12, 2002 Got Decembers issue just last night and immediately flipped to Kate's 'article' since you mentioned it here. Gotta say, the visuals she provided upon returning from that adventure were priceless. If you see Kate, ask her to do her impression of trying to freefly in the tunnel! What a woman. What a skydiver! Glad to have her as a mentor and friend. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I had a rather enjoyable time buying my first new rig from her. I didn't even know WHO she was as a newbie at the time! Blue ones, Conway 1085ps; I posted this as a pole in skydiving related. ladyskydiver 0 #10 December 16, 2002 Just got the magazine and read her article yesterday. It is a hilarious article. Only problem? I'm now scared to go do tunnel time in January....well...looks like I better buy stock in the company that makes Advil. LOLLife is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! BikerBabe 0 #11 December 16, 2002 Don't be scared...it's totally worth the pain! I just got a chance to look at the article...hilarious, I could totally relate! BTW, though I've never met you (though you might have seen me hanging around Eloy this weekend), congrats on the 300-way, Kate!
