I Graduated!!

Recommended Posts

After a very early cutaway that almost put me out of the sport (thanks tons Michele!!), and a double-repeat of one level, I have GRADUATED!!! :)
I am still having problems with spinning and just tending to turn to the right, so my instructors recommended a couple of "relax" solo dives after my hop & pop so that I can concentrate on my body position without worrying about having to do anything or having anyone watch me. I think I'm going to take his advice. But, he said that I am perfectly safe and my spins aren't too fast that I'm in danger of blacking out or anything, so he said he feels fine with me going on my own! WooHoo!! B|

I know, I know, but you helped me to sort it all out and decide to go back and give it another try. And I'm so happy with that decision right now! :)

CONGRATULATIONS! :)
For your turn, I recommend getting a Coach to help you by doing some drills that involve simple turns (like 90 degrees) on a central point or heading. A more advanced version of this would be opposed diamond drills with 4 skydivers. It's a really simple skydive that allows everyone to concentrate on heading, fallrate, proximity to one another, and staying smooth. It think if you work on heading control with another skydiver or two involved, it will help you (and be more fun).;)
