Tell u what, if in conversation, i simply taped someones mouth shut everytime they were talking about something i disagreed with or personally felt was inappropriate, im pretty sure the results would include a trip or two to the dentist. jceman 1 #2 December 14, 2002 Quoteam i the only one who thinks that the moderator(s) need to gain some serious perspective here? The short answer is: Probably. The long answer is: Read the Forum Rules, they are quite simple and quite short. Remember we are all guest here of the owner of this site;make no mistake, as open as it is, there is one and only one person who pays for this bandwidth/storage even though he has people help him in moderating these forums. Play by his rules and you won't be bothered by their actions; if you disagree with these simple rules, there are many other sites to visit. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
skymama 37 #3 December 14, 2002 The thread you created (that was deleted) was a total troll post and you know it. If you want to do that, go to rec.skydiving because it's really not appreciated around here. I'm sure you'll find plenty of people over there who look forward to replying to a post like that. Also, this thread is being moved to Talk Back so the freeflying forum can remain topical. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Is that supposed to be some sort of threat? I personally would have liked to have seen your post so that I could make my own mind up about the severity of it (and you), but that is now all in the past. CrazyThomas 0 #12 December 14, 2002 The moderators can do whatever the hell they want. I went through this when I first got on. Then, I was the one who relaxed. After I relaxed, I found it not quite so difficult to post something appropriate onto the board. It should make you wonder, if the moderators didn't think your post was appropriate, why were you posting it? Try to relax, and just be friendly. Lots of nice people on here. Yes, some mean people too. Don't come to make enemies. Don't come to make friends. All good things happen to those who wait. Don't bitch at the moderators just because they can do something you cannot. and lastly, I believe Erno restated it best: "This ain't no DAMN democracy!" Peace, Thomas

Technically, is would be "This ain't no damned democracy", or "This isn't a damned democracy", or "Fuck y'all: my house, my rulez". Yeah, what she said. and if you're still not convinced, listen to CrazyThom... go back and read his posts from a few weeks ago. He speaks the truth. We're all a friendly bunch here, greenies included. (even though the greenies are just big flirts) So if you're picking a fight, go back to rec.land. 'course, this whole thread was probably a troll also. and for the person who asked what a troll was, basically, on the forums, a troll is when someone posts something just to start an argument or to get people's goat, to get something started. for example, a terribly blatent troll would be if i posted this: "Hi, i'm new to skydiving and i have 35 jumps. I just bought stilleto 109. could you explain to me how to hook turn?" that'd be too obvious though. peace, really, make love, not warhttp://www.exitshot.com
