am i the only one who thinks that the moderator(s) need to gain some serious perspective here?
Tell u what, if in conversation, i simply taped someones mouth shut everytime they were talking about something i disagreed with or personally felt was inappropriate, im pretty sure the results would include a trip or two to the dentist.

Read the Forum Rules, they are quite simple and quite short. Remember we are all guest here of the owner of this site;make no mistake, as open as it is, there is one and only one person who pays for this bandwidth/storage even though he has people help him in moderating these forums. Play by his rules and you won't be bothered by their actions; if you disagree with these simple rules, there are many other sites to visit.

The thread you created (that was deleted) was a total troll post and you know it. If you want to do that, go to rec.skydiving because it's really not appreciated around here. I'm sure you'll find plenty of people over there who look forward to replying to a post like that.

The moderators can do whatever the hell they want.
I went through this when I first got on. Then, I was the one who relaxed. After I relaxed, I found it not quite so difficult to post something appropriate onto the board.
It should make you wonder, if the moderators didn't think your post was appropriate, why were you posting it?
Try to relax, and just be friendly. Lots of nice people on here. Yes, some mean people too.
Don't come to make enemies. Don't come to make friends. All good things happen to those who wait.
Don't bitch at the moderators just because they can do something you cannot.
and lastly, I believe Erno restated it best:
