jfields 0 #1 December 17, 2002 Hey there, folks! I just booked a trip for me and my family to Toronto. We'll be there from the day after Christmas to the day after New Year's. I figured, what better place to visit during the winter than one where my nuts will freeze! I must be stupid. I have a hotel and all that taken care of already. We are staying right downtown. What I'm looking for is good info from locals and other people that have spent a lot of time there. What are good low-stress things to do, considering we'll have an infant with us? Also, what are some really good/fun restaurants that the locals enjoy but the tourists usually miss? It's all about the food. I have reserved our dinner for New Year's Eve already, but we have 5 days worth of other meals to eat. Thoughts? Live in Toronto, eh? Why in the hell would ANYONE want to go to Canada......on purpose....unless it's for skiing, beer drinking, or the chicks in Kingston?
 jfields 0 #3 December 17, 2002 Not only that, but why would anyone in their right mind make a dinner reservation in a restaurant that acts like a gigantic Sit 'N Spin 1150 ft up? At that altitude, do I asked to be excused from dinner, jump, then pull silver?
 goose491 0 #4 December 17, 2002 You've made a great choice! Check This Out. Make sure you visit the CN tower! It doesn't cost much to get in and the view of the city is spectacular for up there. (No BASE jumps though ). There is a revolving restaurant up there too! It's pretty expensive but might be worth you're while if you're really "All about the food". Also, check out "Millestones" downtown. Great food, cool atmosphere! It's on Younge St. Near Richmond I think. It's next to a great big movie theatre. If you have any specific questions, you can PM me or just reply here. I live in Markham which is but moments away from the T dot O! My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
