skreamer 1 #1 December 18, 2002 I might not be AOL's biggest fan, but boy am I happy about this victory in court. It might not affect the amount of spam I receive but it is good to know that companies responsible for spam are being held accountable (where possible). skreamer 1 #4 December 18, 2002 I don't think there is much point in suing Clay - I think he has even less money than me.. (which is zero)
fudd 0 #5 December 18, 2002 I recently found this great idea on the net. I'll try to get one of these up on my site to. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
jfields 0 #6 December 18, 2002 Oh, that IS funny. Both legal and deliciously ironic.
Guest #7 December 18, 2002 I was reading recently (and may have seen it here on dz.com) about a spammer in the Midwest whose name and meatspace address were published on the Internet. He's being bombarded with unsolicited snail mail (bogus subscriptions and the like). He's retaliating by suing the anti-spammers that published his information. BTW none of this is anectdotal: spammer part 1 spammer part 2 "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
