Anyone have one of those camera cell phones they have advertised on TV? I was thinking about getting one and want some opinions.

I've seen 1 person that has one.
Not that impressed personally.

Be sure to ask TMobile or whomever how big the pics are. The data tranfer on GSM phones (like that one) are through the GPRS protocol. That usually costs extra on the monthly plans, and they charge you by the kb for data.

For the size of pic that they seem to shoot, I dont think you can really even print them out clearly.

I've got a friend with one. He takes pictures of people and saves them with their phone numbers. When it rings, a little LCD screen on the outside cover flashes their picture up. I thought that was frigg'n sweet.

I'm not really wanting to print them out, I'm still on 35mm film for that. What I really want to do is email the pics and be a posting picture whore. I can post pics of my skydiving gear and shit you know?!?

Turns out the phone and camera are free w/ a mail in rebate. My contract w/ Verizon is up this month so I'm upgrading for nothing

Work fine - co-worker has one she uses with T-Mobile. The only issue is T-Mobile's Chicago network isn't that hot.

The real question is will you use it past the first 3 weeks?

Cameras = Casino security removing you from the premises

In most casinos cell phones any place around the gaming area is taboo but in Vegas it rarely matters because the casinos are so big there is no cell reception inside.

I did Vegas on New Years a few years ago. Man, that was fun!!! They imploded the Hacienda at midnight.
