It only took me 4 months but I can now tell you how middle earth, the Eldar (elves), men, and the rings of power (7, 9 and one to rule them all) came to be and that Gandolfs was first known as Mithrandir. I read the Hobbit and LOTR in high school and now at the ripe old age of 24 I have read The Silmarillion. DAYUM, this book was some dry reading, read a page, think about it read page again. whew!
