My first skydiving girlfriend, Barbara Insley, did that - quit acting to become a skydiver (and a massage therapist.) She was doing pretty well as an actor, but hated the life. At one time there was talk she was going to model some of his stuff, but I have never seen it. Doesn't mean she didn't do it, just that I didn't see it.
