bivar 0 #52 December 17, 2002 QuoteI've found those two links for gunship videos on a usenet. They are pretty large (159Mb) for me as I have 56k modem. So if someone like to download it here it is. http://4.17.146.33/gunship_video.mpeg and http://66.93.167.214/gunship_video.mpeg Do NOT waste your bandwidth downloading these videos. Actually just one of the links is working, and that video is only a higher resolution version of the one mentioned it the first post of this thread. The download is slow also. It never became faster than 35 kB/sek.----------------------------------------

LouDiamond 1 #54 December 21, 2002 Just saw the AC-130 footage being shown on FOX news LIVE. Col David hunt gave a fairly long explanation of the ships capabilities ans uses. Nothing that I don't think any of us here don't already know. Curiously enough though, there was no audio on the portion of the clip they showed. They just showed it with audio during the closing of the show and they got the part where the guy says "yeah I saw those guys fly apart" I'm sure the tree huggers will be screaming about that one. dkearns 0 #56 December 22, 2002 I don't know what the tree huggers can bitch about. The fact that there were massive secondary explosions when the vehicles were hit justifies the entire action.

riddler 0 #58 December 22, 2002 I think that's because they were incindiary rounds in the stack. Just a guess. And I think the real reason the sound was left out was because the egos of newcasters can't handle someone else talking while they report.Trapped on the surface of a sphere.
