he is 3 yrs older then me and lives with "MOMMY still.Irratates the shit out of me but I love him tp death still. but shouldn't my OLDER brother be someone I can look up to!?
(in his defense, he is just out of a 3 years relationship and needed somwhere to go til he got back on his feet.....2 years ago!)

anyway, I just wanted to tell ya STOP living to HIS expectations!

After he's been talking awhile, just look up and say "Oh, I'm sorry -- what did you say?" Say it enough and he'll give up. Or else he'll get really pissed and lay into you some more, but that's easier to ignore, because then you did something to earn it.

Or you could just look at him sometime when he's doing it and tell him to piss off. Good luck, have a good jump, and go home refreshed and in a great mood. Nothing will piss him off more than the thought that you're having fun and not paying attention to him.

I can soo relate. Ever since my dad passed my big bro has tried to take over, problem is my dad was a deadbeat dad nd so no gap was left when he perished.

My brother is always buggin me, when ya gonna grow up and stop skydiving and stop wasting $. Funny to me is I have a better job and unlike him I have no wife or kids to feed. I like to try and tell myself that they only act this way because they care. I also think that in my brothers case that he has been just enough of a fuck-up that he feels like he at least should try n preach to me. He has been a poor example of the "Big bro role model" so he can at least talk the talk right??? Hypocritical for sure and twisted I know. Anyways get some distance and prevail brother man!
