riddler 0 #12 December 23, 2002 Err - sorry - nerding out on ya Wireless Internet access. High speed. Found in many Starbucks (via T-mobile), and hotels (Boingo). The idea is you take a laptop with a wireless network card to one of these "hotspots" and viola - instant Internet access with no cables. Also called "bluetooth" and is finding it's way to many small electronic devices for wireless transfer, such as cam-corders, palmtops, etc. Not that hard to set up if you have an internet connection - just add a wireless access point (about $150).
