PLFXpert 0 #1 December 23, 2002 Everyone at work is making fun of me...they couldn't figure out why there was a set of car keys in the refridgerator. Doesn't anyone else do that if you don't want to forget something, like your lunch, on your way out?Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. riddler 0 #2 December 23, 2002 Do you always look in the fridge before walking out of the house or work? Sound like a food issue to me I keep my keys in my pockets. Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD

PLFXpert 0 #7 December 23, 2002 Quote Do you always look in the fridge before walking out of the house or work? Sound like a food issue to me [Tongue] No, silly....at home, I'd always forget to take my lunch w/ me to work, so when I put my keys in the fridge, I can't forget to take my lunch, b/c I can't leave the house w/out my keys. Same thing at work...I brought my lunch today with REALLY GOOD STUFF in it, but then, b/c it's the day before Christmas Eve, everyone brought in a dish...MMMMMM...so, to make sure I didn't forget to bring my lunch back home, I put my keys in the fridge. I brought too good of stuff to let go to waste over the Christmas break!Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
riddler 0 #8 December 23, 2002 Ohh! That makes more sense - I've forgotten my lunch plenty of times. But only really lost my lunch a few times. I'll have to try that next time I make a lunch.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD

skygal3 0 #11 December 23, 2002 nope. I was in a hurry last thursday, had a bunch of things to do...so I put my essentials on the counter-next to my house keys- so I would not forget them when I left...cell phone, chapstick, toll $ etc...what happened? I forgot my cell phone, chapstick and toll $...
PLFXpert 0 #12 December 23, 2002 He he he...well, to give them all away would take too long. But, I might even be getting PAID to help people manage such things in the near future...some great positions have been offered. It's funny...I usually have it pretty together so it would be fun to help others do the same, if they were interested. I've had to keep track of my own shit for years, so it just comes naturally I guess...but silly things like putting my car keys in the fridge really makes people laugh for some reason....but hey, at least I'm not the one who forgets her lunch and then is left w/ the companyh potato chips and soda!Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. billo 0 #14 December 23, 2002 i always go for the old standby - writing stuff on the back of my hand! it is in your face when driving, and wears off after a day or so (by which time you should do whatever was written down)as for right now, my hand says: "travelers checks" (for eloy, must go buy some) "9am thurs" (when i need to be at my buddy's house for breakfast & ride to airport) this week has been really bad with half my christmas shopping list on my hands!
