jessd 0 #7 December 23, 2002 I've heard that Red Bull with any type of alcohol is no good. Something to do with the Red Bull being designed as a stimulant (I think) and the alcohol being a depressant. I think that the combo of the 2 puts a strain on the body. I don't know for sure - that's what I've heard. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..." jessd 0 #9 December 23, 2002 I think that it's the amount of caffeine that is in Red Bull. Not too sure. I generally don't drink caffinated drinks wih alcohol anyway. I usually just drink beer. Iflyme 0 #10 December 23, 2002 Quote mgs per 12 oz can I find it interesting that you are mixing metric with standard measurements ... did the USA finally figure out that the metric system makes a lot more sense???
craichead 0 #11 December 24, 2002 QuoteHave you ever had Red Bull w/ Yager? I tastes like bubble gum. Good but a little too sweet Mmm...a "Bullshit." It seems to taste much better when I'm already drunk, though -- if I'm not sufficiently inebriated, it tastes like cough syrup. Do you drink it by dropping a shotglass of Jaeger in a glass of Red Bull, or do you mix it? I prefer dropping the shot in, but the last time I had it, the bartender refused to give us the shot glasses because it was a liability. Gawain 0 #12 December 24, 2002 Quote ... did the USA finally figure out that the metric system makes a lot more sense??? nah...we use it where convenient and for image purposes...like 5.0L displacement, or 2L bottle of soda...Otherwise it's all miles, pounds, feet, gallons and "knots" as well as acres, gross, and the ever important, never die "Inches" (you know that talking about a "good six inches" sounds a lot better than a "good 15 centimeters" or a "good 1.5 decimeters")...and even though we use it as slang, "jiffy" is 1/100th of a second. Engines are measured with bhp and lb/ft of torque... Sure, the metric system is convenient, easy, simple, but it has no "power"...if it did, the UK would be 100% too, but, unless I'm mistaken, they drive MPH and have a few stragglers of the old system in them too (if I'm wrong tell me.....nicely please ).So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
