craichead 0 #1 December 24, 2002 So, it's about 3:00 PM CST, and I've done very little Christmas shopping for my friends and family. Should I go out and make a good effort to do some shopping before Christmas morn, or stay in and do some more post whoring? -P P.S. - I've done all the internet shopping I can do for the holidays.__ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

craichead 0 #4 December 24, 2002 Quote I just got back from shopping and everyone out there is nuts. Eek! I figured that would be the case...last minute shopping is always crazy. In past years, I was amused by the chaos of it all. This year, I think I need to stay in because I'm soooo close to getting off of newbie status! skybytch 273 #9 December 24, 2002 My son just called me from a parking lot. He had to brag a little - he just finished off his Xmas shopping today at Target... in and out in 20 minutes flat. I did almost as good last night at the same store - got everything I needed and got out of there in just over 30 minutes. Guess we're just extremely talented at last minute Xmas shopping... it's all that practice we've had...
freefallfreak 0 #10 December 24, 2002 Hi Dave, Yeah, it astounded me, too. I thought I was gonna be the only one here but as usual, I was wrong...lol. FFF P.S. How ya' been? How's school going? Other then that, I've just been jumping my nutz off and having fun. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." craichead 0 #18 December 24, 2002 Finishing up last-minute Christmas shopping in 20-30 minutes is very impressive, indeed! But an important question is, how many people were you guys shopping for? Is there a technique for timing, e.g. each person gets 5 minutes of shop time? -P __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)
skybytch 273 #19 December 24, 2002 Quote how many people were you guys shopping for? His was easy - two presents and he knew exactly what he was getting before he walked in. Mine was a bit more extensive - I had to buy for a three year old and four adults and didn't know what I was going to get for two of them... Spent most of that 30 minutes fighting my way through the toy section.
