because we have all been here at work since 5:30...shoveling...plowing...digging out of about 2 feet of snow!:oI have some really good pics of the snowbanks at home, but this is what we were faced with this morning...supposedly there are 2 rental cars in there. I was up to my hips in snow earlier...I love a day that I can wear snowboard pants to work;)

It's the most fun to dig back in to your driveway when you are tired/annoyed from work ... I love it when it freezes into a brick wall because you were late getting home cause of other people's unfinished work who decided to just call in and stay home.

The other thing I love about living in rural Maine is the people who tool around on snowmobles in my front yard at 1 in the morning riling up my dogs and waking me up... generally one shot in the air gets em to leave but it's hard to get a good night's sleep when you've had a restfull day and your now wide awake and just fired off a shot at some trespassers....

Hey Dex...how much snow did you get??

I have been having a blast actually...the skies are so bright and blue and the snow is everywhere! I have been getting paid to play in the snow all morning...:)
[kate edits to say that dex just scared her...and she is not sure about jumping with him anymore:o:|]

I had to park in a dif. parking lot last night so my crabby maintenance man could plow my parking lot...anyway, the town had plowed the road behind me and this morning I had to dig out of a snowbank taller than the car:o...the only saving grace was it was so beautiful with the bright moon reflecting off of the ice on the water at 5:30 and all of the stars in the sky...it was beautiful...but a pain in the ass!:D

We got a good foot of snow by morning..... (edit: of course it's hard to tell with all the wind last night how much fell and how much blew into my driveway) my road wasn't plowed yet so my first mile of my 40 mile trip in was the most interesting......

scared? I'm harmless... nothing to be scared of a shot in the dark is a, um friendly, way to tell your "friends" (during the day they are my friends heh) who don't have to work the next day to give up harasing you and move along...
