Craig 0 #1 December 27, 2002 Here is the deal, I purchased a Motorola T720 about a month ago and was wondering if anyone else on DZ.com has one. Mine acts crazy sometimes and some seem to have a software problem. Just wondered. Thanks

Kris 0 #3 December 27, 2002 Had the T-Mobile version for a bit, hated it. If your phone is locking up, dropping signal, or other posessed non-sense, talk to your carrier and see about a firmware upgrade. I just picked up the Samsung SGH-S105 a few hours ago and I love it. Does Java apps, 65K colors, IR port, and GPRS internet. Yeah, I'm a gadget freak. Craig 0 #4 December 27, 2002 Locking up would be it. Have to remove and re-insert the battery to get it to work again. Has done it like 5 times in the past month. The firmware is supposed to be the latest avail. Through Verizon FYI. Signal is great, hardly ever have to raise the antenna. From what I hear it is a known issue but you should have seen all the marketing on TV for this phone the past 3 weeks...heh. Thanks for the feedback. Oh, Gadget freak, whats that
ernokaikkonen 0 #5 December 27, 2002 If you're going to replace it, steer clear of Ericssons. I bought the T65 six months ago and it's been nothing but trouble. It locks up, reboots itself, and the user interface is from the deepest abyss. The Nokia would have been 40€ more. I saved money in the wrong place.
