freefallfreak 0 #28 December 30, 2002 Yep...real love can be found anywhere...at least, I hope so...If not, I've had a few artificial loves...and it is always painful to lose or have to walk away from someone you care deeply about. I wish it weren't this way, but sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and sometimes you get rained on... FFF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up." Gawain 0 #34 December 30, 2002 Quote I say YES, because there is always 1 that we never forget, and not necessarily is the first boyfriend/girlfriend I'm not saying I was love struck in this experience, but I can relate to those images that are not forgotten...or one individual that we don't forget... Back in the late 80s, me and a friend were on the train into NYC (from CT). The ride was uneventful, and facing me, on an aisle seat was a woman. She and I traded glances several times during the trip. It appeared she was with a significant other, so I didn't even think of striking up conversation. I remember many details of a few of those moments. We arrived at Grand Central Station and my buddy Chris and I were headed up an escalator. The station was very busy I recall. About halfway up the escalator, I turned around to see the crowd of poeple. At that exact moment, the woman from the train, in the middle of the crowd turned around and we traded once last glance before our views were obscured by the passageway I was heading up. Never saw her again. It certainly wasn't love, I don't know her name, and little else other than the experssion in her eyes and a curled grin from her lips...but I'm still in wonder at how that experience stays with me over the years...So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! freebird 0 #38 December 30, 2002 To be quiet honest, I was sheltered as a teen. My first husband was a way out of the house I did not love him like I do this hubby.I never liked to have sex with my first hubby( married two years did not even sleep in the same house the last 6 months of the marriage) I was too young. I did get a beautiful little girl out of it. I was 21 when I had her.My hubby is my first true love. FOR SURE

freebird 0 #40 December 30, 2002 He really was my first love and one time we broke up while we were dating( for a few months) I was very depressed and had no interest in anything. I did manage to get my skydiving license during that time though.
