KillerKimmy 0 #1 December 31, 2002 I'm writing to anyone out there that can give me information on athletic scholarships (because it is the only way I can figure I can get free money for college-I skydive through the rest of my time). If there are any scholarships out there that require an essay or something for general athletes (not specifically soccer, football and so on) so I can talk about my skydiving abilities. jessd 0 #4 December 31, 2002 I had no choice but to take out student loans. The first thing that you need to do is fill out what is called a FAFSA form. This can be picked up at any local colleges financial aid office or even high school. It requires you to provide your income and your parents' if you are under the age of 24. On the form you put in some schools that you are considering going to. I believe that the deadline for this form is March 1st - it's been a while for me. You will receive a list of what types of loans and grants you are eligible for. I did get some grants, but, most of the aid I got was loans.
