i'm 24,
i don't exactly live with my parents but i live close enough to use the washing machine, and "borrow" food :-)

I know this, and it's awesome! But I hate arguing with my parents, because I feel terrible about it. And it really sucks if I wanna bring any guys home!
HOW embarassing is that?
"Mum, Dad? this is last night's screw...urgh his name? Can I get back to you on that one?"
lol....ahhhhhh shit.:(

It's hard I know. When I was 26 I found myself in the middle of a divorce and having a hard time making ends meet. My parents were nice enough tooffer me a chance to come back home. Don't get me wrong...I appreciated it.But there were moments when I didn't think I could stand it anymore.I had my own livingroom down the basement and slept upstairs. At that time my son was little too.

The date thing is kind of funny. Imagine a 26 yr old telling a guy,"I'd invite you in for a drink, but my parents are home"?:SI made it through and have been on my own for quite some time now.Be patient, try to save your money. Keep telling yourself it's only temporary. Remember it's hard for them too.Needless to say I didn't get laid that much when
I lived there.;)

Do you have your own space..besides your bedroom?
Keep the line of communication open too, don't let
things build up!

Good luck!

Been there, done that. I'll admit that it has many benefits on the financial side.

The sanity aspect is an entirely different matter. You are 22, and still their "baby." :S All I can say is, find ways to enjoy it. I feel your pain...

Suz,
If you really question how you truely feel about your parents, just stop and really think from your heart how you love them and realize that you still have them on Earth with you.:)You can still hug them. That's easier than going to sleep and dreams being as close as you can be.:)

I just moved home in August after almost 5-years of not living there. I'm 24, and I don't think it's that bad. The rent is free, I do my own grocery shopping though. I get along with my parents well too.

I currently live with my folks and I am 22. I must say that I really do not have any problems with my folks. They do not rummage around in my room or anything like that. I am normally not at home though. When I am home, I am normally in my room. Being rent free is kinda nice too, more jumps that way. I plan to move out soon, but until then, just living with the 'rents.

Hey thanks babe!!!

I do have my own space. My room is downstairs and it takes up half the house.

Um...you think I'm doing it wrong? It's not a regular thing to wrestle in bushes....unless you're one to have a tree growing out of your bed.
