CanuckInUSA 0 #1 January 2, 2003 I sit a work today with an empty feeling in my gut. My life has changed in the last week and it's not easy getting back into the Whuffo's world. When I arrived at work this morning I was greated with "you have to fix all of your immediate priority defects by Monday" instead of "hi, how was your vacation, etc, etc, etc.". So here I sit, wishing I was still jumping in Eloy with all the others who may still be there. wmw999 2,589 #2 January 2, 2003 People here were glad to see me still alive. It seems to surprise them that I cheat death. Oh well. I'll admit, though, that I'm quite thoroughly partied out for now. Sore, stuffed up, bedraggled -- but what fun I had getting that way! Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. AggieDave 6 #3 January 2, 2003 Yeah, I want to go jump, like right now, but can't, I miss waking up to go jump and having to walk 50 yards to manifest...not missing freezing my balls of in my tent, though...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." freeflyz 0 #5 January 2, 2003 That Xmas sunset track dive was cool,to the point Omar got flat and it turned in to a 3 group track dive!
wmw999 2,589 #6 January 2, 2003 The tracking dive was totally cool. That's something I'm definitely going to have to try again. Unlike my rudimentary attempts at freeflying, I actually felt like I was participating Wendy W. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. freeflyz 0 #7 January 2, 2003 Which group did you end up in top middle or bottom?
wmw999 2,589 #8 January 2, 2003 Too far away to be in the group with the point man; probably off on my own, since I'm clueless and unaware. I didn't know there were other groups, so I guess I was between them and the bottom. Or something like that. riddler 0 #14 January 3, 2003 I'm with you Canuck. I just got back a few hours ago. Jeannie and I are already missing the warm weather and great skydiving. I have several clients that are screaming that their world is going to end if I don't fix their problems and all I can think about is the great jumps and fun times I had there in Eloy. Was great meeting you all and see you in Rantoul, if not before!Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
