skybytch 273 #29 January 7, 2003 Quote Which airport should I target for this wonderful Perris boogie? LAX, SAN, Orange County ONT - Ontario. Closest airport to the dz, and it's really easy to get in and out of. Might cost you an extra $50-100 over LAX, but avoiding the traffic and LAX hassles are, imho, worth every penny. skymama 37 #34 January 7, 2003 Quote but avoiding the traffic and LAX hassles are, imho, worth every penny. OMG, those traffic jams were a rude awakening when I went to LA! Each day I went out, no matter which direction I was headed or what time of day it was, I got into traffic jams every time! And, I couldn't believe how backed up the traffic was when there were 6 lanes to drive in to begin with. When I was trying to make it to the airport on time, I was a very bad girl and drove in the carpool only lane. If you have the extra money, I'd highly recommend flying into the closest airport. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

lewmonst 0 #47 January 9, 2003 Quote I would say I'm all alone but I'm giving a pre test to my 8th graders. nice! i can't get on dz.com with my 7th graders much becuase they're always on my back..."whatcha doin lew? huh? huh?" i'm fortunate to not be alone. and the kids know it, as Cajones has made several appearances at school, so they ask questions... in fact, the last day before winter break i was talking to one of my classes about what they were all doing over break, you know, skiing, carribean cruise, europe for these kids... and they asked me what I was doing, if i was doing something with "Ed...ooooh"... so i started to say, "yes, Ed and I are making..." and i was cut off with "ooooh, you and Ed are making what, Lew? making Out? making babies... EEW Lew!?!?" So i went on to say, "No, Ed and I are making a video..." and of course they cut me off with "EEEWWW LEEEWWW, that's groooossss, a video, ewwww, a video of what Lew...?" and just as i thought i was saving myself i tried to say "a skydiving video" and blurted out "EEEWWW you do it while you're skydiving Lew, that's GROSSS, Lew, ewwwww,".... they're relentless i tell ya. you gotta love em. they even brought it up when i got back on Monday with, "So Lew, how's that Video, huh huh huh?, did you have fun making that video, lew.... hee hee".... i can't wait to show them some of it... the skydiving that is. peacehttp://www.exitshot.com

mouth 0 #49 January 9, 2003 My 7th grade classes are like that so I really enjoy them. My 6th graders are such babies and my 8th graders think they know everything (my child included). The 8th grade bunch likes to try and get the shock factor going so they ask questions about sex in the middle of an Algebra discussion....go figure, I teach them something and they teach me something. Things are heating up for the semester tomorrow so my play time will be greatly diminished on here. A teacher's 3 most favorite words.... June July AugustHey...I just thought up a good problem for my challenged kids. Let them figure the jump numbers for us then graph them.
