Faber 0 #1 January 10, 2003 Find out if its a extremsport or not? I had this discus by some freinds.I just think that people think its if its somthing a smaller group are doing things that the rest of the comunity aint willing to do.Then its extreme..Or els football would be a extrem sport aswell,in my point of weiv. Any one... Stay safe Stefan Faber
Kinaa 0 #2 January 10, 2003 I think that extreme sport is when your life is in danger when doing it. But now people tend to call any not mainstream sport extreme. Like I read a day ago in some newspaper, they called a paintball extreme sport?? Thats probably just a marketing trick to attract pepople to it, cos word extreme always draw attention. ernokaikkonen 0 #3 January 10, 2003 "Extreme-sport" is just a word that's used in marketing(extreme skateboarding anyone? or this?). Everyone has a different opinion. Most people who do sports that whuffos consider "extreme", don't want to call their sport an "extreme-sport". It's a rather silly label to put on a sport in my opinion. fudd 0 #4 January 10, 2003 Someone here got a sig which say something like: It's not an extreme sport unless you can die from massive internal injuries. Sounds fair to me There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Faber 0 #5 January 10, 2003 I agree that if your life are in danger it should be called a extremsport. Why aint it extrem to drive a motercykel at the roads? As far as i know its more dangerus than skydive, however skydive are called extrem.. Funny thourgth... Know its 2 different things, but anyway.. When you skydive you would probaly say that skydive aint extreme,unles... There you mention all thouse things that YOU fell extrem,or what? suz 0 #12 January 10, 2003 Quote Yeah but your version is violent!!! LOL....it is isnt it? I used to work at the foot ball, when I was only 15 years old. I was walking around selling pieces of pizza's to people sitting in the football stands HA HA HA!!! I remember when I almost got knocked out by the football once. The ball came into the crowd and I ended up getting pushed out of the way and ended up on my arse with this thermo bag strapped to my waist still. I had a hard time getting up...I was sooooooooooooo embarrassed! Don't bother me, I'm living happily ever after

freekflyguy 0 #14 January 10, 2003 If football can be described as extreme I'd hate to think what Rugby is. No pads, no helmets, football for real men I reckon. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
nacmacfeegle 0 #15 January 10, 2003 Oooh, don't mention Rugby round here, HH is from South Africa, and the last time they played here even Scotland beat them......shhhh now... -------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me.
