OK, Andy, focus on these points:
1. Woman arrow ends on her hair. Picture Jesus on the cross type of pose and you'll see her arms.
2. Men's arrows end on each of their backs. You can make out thier heads above the backs. Brownish spots flanking the womans body on the left and right. These could also be called the pupils of a cross eyed skull.

You know, the more I look at that, the more that is exactly what it looks like.

Jesus on the cross, and two kneeling in front of him. It's actually quite fitting that the overall, from a distance look of it is that of a skull.
