suz 0 #26 January 11, 2003 Ahhh.....nice and cosy! Every time I've been jumping, we've all been rammed into the plane. Hot weather...sweating bodies....mmmmmm Don't bother me, I'm living happily ever after
wmw999 2,589 #27 January 11, 2003 OK, that was me first in line, slow out the front. I'd moved from floater to diver, and no one told me that the way they were counting, I should go on ready; the previous day, I went on set (slower counter, y'know). So there. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. Deuce 1 #39 January 11, 2003 Ah, Rose, I've got 3 views of most of the formation loads, me over the top, Ben from inside (staring at you the whole time) and chase video from inside the plane on down (I've blanked the camera flier's name I'm really bad with names for the first couple of years) Anyhow, you look just serene the whole time, and that corner of the formation was tricky on exit. I'm waiting on some more digital photos, and to put some music on the video, but I'll get it out next week.(40 minutes, edited
Skyrose7 0 #40 January 11, 2003 Sweet! I reallly cannot wait to see the video! You did an awesome job! I especially like the pics. Yes, Ben was my mirror and we held great eye contact the whole time. What an awesome day of jumping! Thank you for all your hard work! As far as looking serene the whole time--that was because I was at home in the sky. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP. pattersd 0 #41 January 11, 2003 The chase video was me. My protrack read 200+ mph max speed during the dive down to the formation. We were just a little late getting off the plane, and it didn't help that I fell right at the door and just dragged myself out of the plane. Who wants to do it again? Deuce 1 #48 January 11, 2003 Dude, that's you right in the middle doing your High School Shop Teacher imitation! It's the free beer thing. Brutal. Usually when I run through the cash in my wallet I stop drinking. The freedom of drinking someone elses beer forever was a steep learning curve. If I had brought a motorized wheelchair and one of those pencil on a helmet stick things to steer it I'd still be there...
