akaGQ 0 #1 January 13, 2003 Well the diagnosis wasnt too bad. Him and his gf sufered a minor concussion due to the impact and the airbag and hes got a broken rib and she has a broken leg do to the collapse of the firewall below the passenger side concole. And aside from the bruises and short term memory loss of my brother the doctor says that everything will be ok in time. As for the asshole drunk that hit them. The subject was a 76 year old man with three prior DUI offenses, had no liscense, no insurance no anything. We considered a suit but the cost of the lawyer would run more money than the old man actually had so the bills and expenses will have to come through our insurance and such. And Im not that satisfied that he may spend 6 months or a year and then get paroll over all of this. But I guess its really not my descision. Im just thankful that it wasnt any worse. Thanx to all of you that have had there fingers crossed and prayed for me and my family. I love you all. wmw999 2,589 #3 January 13, 2003 That's good news. Not the best, but very good nonetheless. Hopefully the man will not be able to replace his (hopefully totalled) car. skydiverbob 0 #7 January 13, 2003 You need to file on him for expenses incurred, you never know what the old asshole has in his estate or may come into. If a judgement is rendered you will be able to get something, most states allow self filing for anything under $5000.00.Who Dares Wins
